A private yacht charter in Ibiza typically costs from around €950 per day for a sports boat or RIB, up to €12,000 or more per day for a large luxury yacht. Most motor yachts sit between €3,000 and €8,000 per day. These are low-season starting rates that rise in July and August, and they exclude VAT and fuel. The final price depends on the size and model of the yacht, the time of year, and the extras you choose.
What determines the price of a yacht charter in Ibiza?
Four things move the price more than anything else. First, the size and model of the yacht: a compact RIB is a fraction of the cost of an 80-foot Sunseeker. Second, the season: May, June, September and October are quieter and cheaper, while July and especially August are peak. Third, whether the yacht comes with a captain and crew, which is standard on the larger boats. And fourth, the extras: fuel, food and drinks, water toys and berthing fees are usually charged on top of the base rate.

What is included in the price?
For most charters the daily rate includes the yacht with its captain and crew, mooring at the home port in Ibiza, complimentary drinks, towels, and water toys, which vary depending on the yacht. This is general guidance and does vary from boat to boat, so it is always worth checking exactly what is included when you enquire.
What is not included - extra costs to budget for
The main costs on top of the base rate are VAT, fuel, mooring at any port other than the home port, gratuities for the crew, and extras such as food and drinks. Fuel is usually the biggest variable and depends on how far and how fast you cruise. Tipping is entirely voluntary; as a guide, many guests tip around 10 percent based on their experience. It is sensible to budget for fuel and provisioning separately when planning your day.
Low season versus high season
Timing has a real impact on price. May, June, September and October are calmer and more affordable, while July and August are the busiest and most expensive months of the year. As an example, a Sunseeker Predator 74 like Black Jax starts at €5,250 per day in low season and rises to around €6,600 in high season. If you have flexibility, chartering just outside the peak weeks can save you a meaningful amount and usually means quieter coves too.
Full-day, half-day and sunset charters
A full-day charter usually runs for around eight hours and is the most popular option, giving you time to reach Formentera, stop for lunch and enjoy several bays. Many boats also offer shorter half-day or sunset charters at a lower rate, which are a great way to experience Ibiza from the water without a full day out. Ask us for the current options and times.
