SCROLL

It is absolutely essential when you come to Ibiza to go to Es Vedrà, as it is one of the most spectacular wonders of Las Pitiüsas (= the islands of Ibiza and Formentera).

Considered an islet full of curiosities and legends, whose sunset is among the most highly valued in the world, it's a unique place that concentrates a special energy that is impossible to compare with any other experience or place on the planet. The rock is also known as one of the seven magnetic world famous spots in the whole world.

The best option is to have access by sea, to be able to surround it and feel it close. To have the opportunity to observe its immense natural structure, the autochthonous vegetation, the energy that surrounds it, and if it's possible even to TOUCH it.

It's composed of two rocks, Es Vedrà, the larger one, and Es Vedranell, the smaller one, which can be accessed by boat, because the shape of the islet represents a semicircle and it is usually quite protected.

Es Vedrà also has a meaning of freedom. The Ibiza inhabitants see it as a new world surrounding the island and the Mediterranean Sea, like a new day arises with each sunrise which makes each morning different from the next. In any case, it is an exciting spectacle that you should not miss.

The rock is located in front of the beach of Cala d'Hort, in the southwest of Ibiza, with crystal clear water, one of the best spots on the island. You can enjoy some amazing restaurants with typical Ibiza's food as well as amazing views of the Es Vedrà. A little bit further, heading back to the port you can appreciate "Atlantis", qualified as one of the jewels of the Balearic Islands with its dreamlike landscape totally different from any other place.

Atlantis - The Lost City of Ibiza

It is a hidden cove located on the western coast of the island of Ibiza. It is known for its natural beauty and stunning rock formations, which include cliffs, caves, and arches. Atlantis is also referred to as the "Lost City of Ibiza" due to its mystical and ancient appearance.

In recent years, Atlantis has become a popular destination for tourists seeking adventure and off-the-beaten-path experiences. Visitors can reach the cove by hiking or by boat, and are rewarded with crystal-clear waters and peaceful surroundings. However, it is important to note that Atlantis is a fragile and protected environment, and visitors are encouraged to respect the natural surroundings and leave no trace behind.
