What Can You Do on a Yacht Charter in Ibiza? A Day on Board

Destinations, water sports, lunch stops and sunsets - what a day on the water really looks like

SCROLL

One of the best things about a private yacht charter in Ibiza is that no two days have to look the same. You can cross to Formentera for turquoise water, chase a little adrenaline on the water toys, drop anchor for a long lunch, or simply relax in the sun and wait for the famous Ibiza sunset. Here is a look at what you can actually do on a day on board, and how to shape the day around what your group enjoys most.

Cruise to Formentera and Es Palmador

Many of our guests choose to head straight for Formentera and Es Palmador, some of the most beautiful spots in the Balearics and only truly accessible by boat. The water is calm, clear and impossibly blue. There is no fixed route, so the best approach is to talk through what you would like to see with our team and your skipper, who will know the best places to go depending on the weather and the day. Browse the full fleet to find a boat with the range and comfort for the crossing.

Try the water toys and water sports

For a shot of adrenaline, you can go wakeboarding, water skiing or try the towable donut. Extras such as a seabob or a jet ski can be arranged to rent on request, usually for an additional charge, and jet skis without a licence need to go out with an instructor, which we can organise. If you would rather slow down, most boats carry snorkelling equipment on board. The water toys available vary from boat to boat, so tell us what you would like and we will let you know what is included on your yacht and what can be added.

Swim, sunbathe and explore hidden coves

Not every moment has to be action. Anchor off a quiet beach, swim to a deserted cove, explore the caves along the coast, or simply sunbathe on deck with a cold drink in hand and enjoy the shimmer of the famous blue Ibiza water. Part of the appeal of a private charter is that the day moves at your own pace.

Stop for lunch by the water

When it is time to eat, you are spoilt for choice. Many of the best restaurants along the coast offer a tender service, picking you up directly from your yacht and bringing you straight to your table, and for more remote spots your captain can drop you ashore by tender. If you prefer to stay on board, we can arrange catering, and on the larger yachts you can enjoy the talents of an onboard chef. On most boats you are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks, though it is always best to check with us first.

Watch the legendary Ibiza sunset

There are few better ways to end the day than anchored offshore with a bottle of wine or champagne in hand, watching the legendary Ibiza sunset light up the sky. It is the kind of moment that makes a charter feel truly special, and a perfect way to round off a day on the water before heading back to port.

Plan your day with us

The beauty of a private charter is that the day is yours to shape. Tell us what you enjoy, who is coming and roughly what you have in mind, and we will match you with the right boat and help plan a day around it.
